Routine does not have to be a “bad” word – instead, use a simple routine to give yourself just a few moments to “take the time to make the time” to do what you choose. Routines can be something small like journaling or reading, or something like taking that weekly yoga class at the gym you have been wanting to do.

Start small, journaling or reading can be done in 5 minutes, and you can build from there. Once you establish these routines, they won’t feel so foreign, and you will start to appreciate and look forward to those few minutes and will be looking to add in another routine. Momentum builds!
